1st Uniportal VATS Masterclass Malaysia (2019)
Empowering surgical excellence through innovation and collaboration.
The 1st Uniportal VATS Masterclass in Malaysia was a two-day educational event held on 6-7 August 2019 at University of Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC) in Kuala Lumpur.
The event was directed by Dr. Diego Gonzalez Rivas, a pioneer in Uniportal VATS, and co-directed by Dr. Sivakumar Krishnasamy.
While Adventa was not an official sponsor, Scanlan Instruments, distributed by Adventa Healthcare, were used in two live surgeries performed during the Masterclass.
This collaboration underscored Adventa’s commitment to supporting world-class surgical techniques and clinical innovation in Malaysia.
